Can't get over how much he looks like his sire Andean Night!It is with equal parts joy and sadness that we introduce Lionheart. This beautiful son of Andean Night was born on 5/5 via C-section, and he arrived home with his mom only to have our farm under a tornado watch. His mom did a great job of providing him with plenty of colostrum and milk during his first 24hrs eventhough she was tired and sore from just going through a C-section. (Lionheart's IgG was 2800!)Sadly, Maggie passed away from a ruptured intestine the day after the surgery.He has very shiny dark brown fleece that tested at AFD 15.6 at a month old. He's a tribute Night and to his dam Maggie. We thank her owners Audrey & Lloyd of W. TX Gold Alpacas for everthing they've done for us.Maggie was a TB General Schwartzkopf's daughter. The famous Schwartzkopf genetics are getting harder to find.We are very excited to announce that Lionheart is Co-Owned with Rosemary & Ric Metcalf of Windrush Alpacas!
