Judge Sara Jane Mclennan was awed by Treasure's brightness, staple structure, crimp, and overall fleece density. Together with Ruth Elvestad they awarded Treasure the Best Brightness award for all the huacaya fleeces at the show.Treasure's background is packed with wonderful genetics. His sire is Altiplano Gold. His dam is Xanadu P. Travesura, a Presidio daughter, Caligula granddaughter. He lives up to all the great bloodlines in his background. He oozes prescence and confidence. He has solid conformation, and the most gorgeous fleece you can imagine!Treasure is proudly co-owned w/ Rosemary & Ric Metcalf of Windrush AlpacasAug.07: Treasure takes a 3rd (class of 15) at the AFCNA fleece show!April 07: HOW ABOUT THAT BOY! Feb 07:Treasure has added another ribbon to his growing list of winnings by bringing home fourth place at the TxOLAN show in Feb in a very competitve white yearling class of 14.November: Treasure's fleece placed 4th in the white juvi fleece division at the AOBA F2F Confrence in Reno! We heard there were lots of ribbons being grabbed by the huge farms, so we are very pleased that Treasure's fleece is amoung the best in the country!October Update: One week after his first birthday, Treasure brought home the White Male Reserve Color Championship from the ABR Fall Festival! What a great belated birthday present! |
