About Llano Soleado Alpacas

Located on the sunny high plains of eastern New Mexico, Llano Soleado Alpacas (pronounced Ya no Sol ee AH doh) is home to the Dart family, nineteen alpacas, four dogs and two cats. We have nine acres of native grass pastures for people, pacas, and pups to wander and enjoy in the sunshine. (The cats prefer to lounge in the shade of the Apricot trees.)

We spent over a year researching and buying top quality huacaya alpacas to get our herd off to a great start. With genetics from Accoyo Godfather, Caligula, Peruvian Hemingway, Bueno, Peruvian Felix, Augusto, and now Snowmass (to name a few) we think we have laid a great foundation for our herd!
