We have devoted years to developing a top of the line breeding program, and we are now looking to pass it on to a new owner. This is not a distress sale. We do not have to sell all our alpacas in a certain amount of time, nor are we going to throw away our prize winning herd and all our hard work, but we will be leaving the industry. Our entire herd is available for purchase either as a whole entity (from soup to nuts - i.e.- farm name, supplies, contact list, etc.) to select packages, to individual alpacas. Our top priority is to see our alpacas move to great farms with exceptional breeding programs. If that sounds like your farm, let us know because we have got a great deal for you! We will no longer be booking any breedings to our elite males. Almost all our prices are open to negotiation, so call us with you best offer. It also has listings of some of our alpacas that haven't been listed here. Llano Soleado Alpacas is located on the sunny high plains of east central New Mexico. Situated on 9 ½ acres of pastures. Since 2004 we have been raisng quality alpacas and striving to provide a superior level of customer satisfaction for our clients.

We have laid the foundations of a very special herd with ARI registered, high quality genetics from the lines of Caligula, Bueno, Hemingway, Accoyo Godfather, Victor, Peruvian Dom Lucilio, Andean Bronze, XXXtreme, Black Magic, and Accoyo Felix to name only a few. In the fall of 2006 we turned the direction of our breeding program to specialize in Fawn, Brown, and Black alpacas with the purchase of our top herd sire Snowmass Andean Night, an award winning Andean Bronze son. Llano Soleado now has a range of beautiful herd sires on our farm to produce quality color alpacas. We are dedicated to further improve our herd through implementation of the most selective breeding plan, and by our commitment to our continued education in all aspects of the alpaca industry.
